Hi, my name is Zoélie Bérubé and I am from Victoriaville, Québec. I study in the program Language and Intercultural in the Cégep de Victoriaville. I have many classes that help me improve my English and Spanish. In my writing class I needed to do a blog where I would write about things that matter to me. Two subjects that grabbed my attention this year were freedom of speech and natural disasters.

Freedom of speech is a human right. It protects the right for everyone to express their opinion without restraint. Sadly, not everyone has access to that right. That is why, everyday, people from all over the world fight and talk for those who do not have a voice.

InfoWars is a conspiracy theory and fakenews website. It was created in 1999 by Alex Jones. The owner is known for talking about many taboo subjects, such as the Sandy Hook shooting, where he was brought to court for diffamation.

Natural disaster is an event caused by nature such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, etc… Following this hashtag help people know when a natural disaster is coming near them or not and if they need to prepare to leave. It can be very helpful. Natural disasters strike often and it can take thousands of lives away.
